Diehard BLUES Supporter, Sergeant Jane Hudson has her MAROON Ball Gown but is very BLUE that she's not celebrating after the massive thumping Queensland gave NSW at the recent State Of Origin match in Brissy. At least she can always hope no one will notice the colour of her pretty MAROON Ball Gown! The POOTY BALL welcomes all members of the public to join us and help celebrate our local Police Officers and their wonderful achievements this year.

Do yourself a favour and grab a group of friends for a fun filled night with plenty of opportunities to win some amazing raffle and door prizes.

Tables of 10 are available for groups or join in the celebrations with new found friends.

If you are a dab hand on the dance floor then you’ll be right at home being entertained by local singer-songwriter, producer, media personality and performer, Rhys Tolhurst and his Party Band the Juicy Red Flies.

I guarantee you toes will be tapping and you’ll be showing off some snappy dance moves by the end of the night.

All community members are welcome to attend.

IT’S NOT TOO LATE:  Nominations for the 2014-2015 Far North District Police Officer of the Year (POOTY) have now closed however due to the continued community support for POOTY, the organising committee have agreed to keep the nominations coming for another 12 months of POOTY for the 2015-2016 period.

This is the perfect opportunity for members of the community to acknowledge outstanding achievements made by an individual officer.
