A 16-year-old Edmonton girl was arrested at a Murray Street address last night, following a vehicle theft yesterday, February 7.
It will be alleged the girl was involved in the theft of a vehicle from a Trinity Beach Road address at 4am.
Police further allege the girl was involved in a fuel drive-off at a Manoora service station a few hours later.
The girl was charged with one count each of unlawful use of motor vehicle and stealing.
She is due to appear before Cairns Childrens Court at a later date.

Drugs charges, Aeroglen
A 33-year-old Aeroglen man was charged after police executed a warrant at a Diehm St address yesterday morning, February 7.
It will be alleged when arrested on other matters the man was in possession of a quantity of methylamphetamine.
It will also be alleged that items suspected of being stolen were located at the location.
The man was also allegedly involved in a theft from a local hardware store on December 23 of last year.
The man was charged with one count each of possess dangerous drugs, possess tainted property, stealing, and failure to appear.
He was refused bail and will appear before the Cairns Magistrates Court today, February 8.

Assault police, Manunda
A 32-year-old Ravenshoe man was arrested following an incident in Manoora early this morning, February 8.
Police attempted to intercept a vehicle allegedly displaying false number plates earlier the previous evening, when the vehicle allegedly drove off at speed.
The empty vehicle was located a short time after in Chester Court, Manoora.
The driver of the vehicle returned and when an officer attempted arrest him, he allegedly punched the officer and attempted to flee.
The man was charged with one count each of evasion, driving unlicensed, driving an unregistered vehicle, driving an uninsured vehicle, using a vehicle with false plates, assault police and obstruct police.
He is due to appear before the Cairns Magistrates Court on February 23.
