A 24-year-old Yorkeys Knob woman was arrested Saturday night after an incident at a Cairns nightclub.
It will be alleged the woman assaulted staff members at the nightclub before police were called to assist.
A staff member from the nightclub was later treated for bite related injuries at Cairns Hospital after the assault.
The woman has been charged with two counts of assault occasioning bodily harm and one of obstruct police.
She was refused bail and will appear before Cairns Magistrates Court February 19.

Enter vehicles, Earlville
A 44-year-old Gordonvale man has been charged after being located by police in the carpark of a Mulgrave Road motel.
It will be alleged the man had been attempting to break into vehicles in the carpark in the early hours of Saturday morning, February 17.
The man was observed by an owner of one of the vehicles and called police.
When arrested by police the man allegedly had in his possession implements used to pick locks, and several credit cards not belonging to him.
The man has been charged with two counts of attempted enter premises and one count each of possess thing intended for use and possess suspected stolen property.
He is due to appear before Cairns Magistrates Court March 5

Stealing, Portsmith
A 31-year-old Manoora man has been arrested in the early hours of yesterday morning on Armstrong St, Edmonton.
It will be alleged the man had been involved in siphoning fuel from earthmoving machinery parked at a Buchan St, Portsmith business on February 17.
It will be further alleged the same man had been involved in the same act at the same business a week earlier.
It will also be alleged the man had been involved in incidents from Edmonton to Kewarra Beach over the past month.
The man has been charged with three counts of stealing, two counts of unlawful use of motor vehicle, and one count each of enter premises, using false number plates, and face disguised with intent.
He has been refused bail and will appear before Cairns Magistrates Court February 19
