Break and enter, Parramatta Park
A 36-year-old man has been charged after being located by officers at a Severin Street address yesterday afternoon, February 6.
Police were called to the address after nearby residents heard noises in the home just after 2pm.
It will be alleged the man had just jumped outside from a window on the second level of the home when officers arrived and apprehended him.
The man has been charged with one count of enter dwelling with intent by break.
He is due to appear before the Cairns Magistrates Court February 21.

Public nuisance, North Cairns
A 21-year-old Murray Island man has been charged following an incident outside a Sheridan Street hotel late last night.
Police were called to the hotel at around 10:30pm in relation to a report of a disturbance inside.
Officers located the man outside and called for him to stop when he allegedly turned and threatened to hit them.
The man complied with officers’ requests shortly after.
He has been charged with one count each of public nuisance in vicinity of licensed premises and obstruct police officer.
He is due to appear before the Cairns Magistrates Court on February 20.

Wilful damage, Manoora
A 34-year-old man has been charged following an incident near the corner of Pease and Pioneer Streets yesterday afternoon, February 6.
Officers had parked their vehicle near the location at around noon and were attending to an unrelated matter when it will be alleged the man spray painted the police vehicle as he walked past.
Onlookers were able to point out to officers the direction the man had gone, and it will be alleged the can of spray paint used was located in the man’s backpack.
He has been charged with one count of wilful damage of police property.
He is due to appear before the Cairns Magistrates Court on February 14.
