Update- located stolen vehicle, Innisfail: Cassowary Coast Children Protection Unit and Criminal Investigation Branch have charged persons in relation to the vehicle stolen from a residence on Ryan Street, East Innisfail on Friday, July 25. Police located the vehicle on Friday, July 25 at about 7:40pm dumped in cane paddocks near Reynolds Street, Innisfail Estate.
A 17-year-old male from Innisfail Estate has been charged with driving of motor vehicle without licence, enter premise and commit indictable offence and unlawful use of motor vehicle and will appear in the Innisfail Children’s Court on July 28.
A 17-year-old female from Innisfail Estate has been charged with unlawful use of motor vehicle and will appear in the Innisfail Magistrates Court on August 11.
A 13-year-old youth female has been charged with unlawful use of motor vehicle and will dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act.
