Local police from the Cairns Forensic Unit and Tactical Crime Squad took some time out on Monday to chat to kids at a local kindergarten about their specialist areas of policing.
Already in awe about just having police at their kindy, the kids were also treated to a look through the police car and some very helpful advice from the officer’s on how to keep safe and what to do in an emergency.
The kids were very excited when teacher, Miss Belinda offered to be handcuffed. There was also a few chuckles from the visiting police officers when several children offered up information about the driving behaviours of their parents during question time.
