Man charged: AOBH, Bentley Park: Detectives have charged a 47-year-old Bentley Park man following investigations into an assault at a Timberlea Drive residence at around 10pm on November 22.

Police will allege that the man kicked and punched a 70-year-old man following a neighbourhood dispute.

The victim required medical treatment for serious internal injuries and bruising.

The man is scheduled to appear at the Townsville Magistrates Court on January 1.

Woman charged: Drug offences, Holloways Beach: Police seized a quantity of cash, weapons and drugs following the execution of a search warrant at an Oleander Street residence at Holloways Beach yesterday.

A 47-year-old woman located at the address was charged with possession of a thing used in the commission of a crime, possession of drug utensils, unlawful possession of a category R weapon, unlawful possession of a category M weapon, unlawful possession of explosives and three counts of possession of a dangerous drug. The woman is scheduled to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court on December 19.

Four charged over burglary, Aurukun: Police have charged four men following investigations into a burglary at the Royal Flying Doctors at Bowenda Street Aurukun on December 9.

Police will allege that the offenders gained entry to a shipping container at the address, using a key that had allegedly been previously stolen. The men then allegedly used the key to start and steal a Nissan Patrol wagon that was inside the container. The damaged vehicle was later found abandoned by police.

Four men aged 16, 23 and two aged 19, all from Aurukun were charged with a range of offences including burglary, trespassing, entering a premises and committing an indictable offence, unlawful use of a motor vehicle and receiving tainted property.

The 16-year-old will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act 1992. The three men are scheduled to appear in the Aurukun Magistrates Court this month.
