Multiple property charges, Cairns & Tablelands: Cairns police charged a 27-year-old Logan woman and a 28-year-old Logan man with a total of 27 property related charges.
It will be alleged uniform first responders intercepted the pair in Cairns with a quantity of property. It will be further alleged the pair targeted homes and businesses in the Cairns and the Tablelands area over the past few days.
The woman was charged with a total of 17 charges which included 10 counts of stealing and seven counts of enter with intent and commit.
The man was charged with a total of 10 charges which included five counts of stealing, three counts of enter premises with intent and one count each of possession of a dangerous drug and receiving tainted property.
The seized property will be returned to owners in due course.
Both are due to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court today.
Property charges, Edmonton & Trinity Beach: Cairns detectives investigating a number of property related offences, yesterday charged an 18-year-old Manunda man with two counts each of burglary, unlawful use of a motor vehicle and one count each of stealing and receiving tainted property.
It will be alleged offences were committed in the Edmonton and Trinity Beach areas during the month of December.
The man is due to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court today.
