Two men, aged 38 and 20, are assisting police with their inquiries following the location and seizure of a quantity of suspected stolen property at Earlville this morning.
Property Crime Squad detectives attached to Operation Cairns Cast Iron executed a search warrant at a Mansfield Street residence at around 8.30am.
A search of the property allegedly uncovered a quantity of tools, computers and workshop equipment that are believed to be stolen.
The discovery follows a similar incident yesterday when officers located a quantity of suspected stolen goods at a Whitfield residence.
A 17-year-old Cairns man located at the Hodel Street house was arrested and charged with 15 offences including multiple burglary and vehicle theft offences. He has been remanded to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court on October 9.
