Property charges, Mt Sheridan: Detectives charged a 14-year-old Mt Sheridan boy yesterday afternoon following investigations into the alleged burglary of a Benjamina Street residence on December 31.

It will be alleged that the boy forced entry to the house and stole computer tablets, a phone and other items.  Officers subsequently recovered a number of items of property including the two computer tablets.

He was charged with one count of burglary, as well as an unrelated wilful damage offence, and will be dealt with under the provisions of The Youth Justice Act 1992.

Do you know this man?:  Police are seeking assistance to identify a man in connection with a series of recent burglary and property offences committed at a North Cairns accommodation complex.

A man is believed to have entered the McLeod Street premises on several occasions during the last month and stolen jewellery, handbags, watches, cameras and other items.  Police believe the man pictured may be able to assist with their investigations.
