Cairns Police were on patrol at the Cairns Racetrack for the Cairns Cup over the weekend.
Officers on patrol were impressed with the behaviour of racegoers as there was little to report inside the grounds unless you were betting on the nags, checking out fashions on the field, having a quiet beer with a mate or just a Billy Slater fan.
Billy was very generous with his time posing for fan photos, including our two good Sergeants.
