That’s right, 74 cars stolen this month between Gordonvale and the Northern Beaches. Police don’t want you to be the next victim and urge vehicle owners to take the following security measures;
- Ensure that your vehicle is locked and that valuables are removed EVERY time you leave your car.
- Ensure that your home is locked.
- Hide your car keys.
A number of cars and motorbikes were stolen over the weekend where keys has been left in the ignition or elsewhere in the vehicle. It only takes a few seconds to double check that your car is secure and that your keys have been removed, that second check might just save you the headache of having your vehicle stolen.
Police also need your help to locate a number of vehicles stolen in the Far North.
