A 13-year-old boy was taken into custody at a Reservoir Rd address yesterday morning, August 9.
It will be alleged that at approximately 9.30am the boy caused damage to a house before assaulting a 48-year-old woman.
It will be further alleged that on the evening of August 8 the boy caused damage to the same house and assaulted a 42-year-old male.
The 13-year-old boy has been charged with three counts of assault and two of wilful damage.
He will appear before Cairns Childrens Court today, August 10.

Stolen vehicle – Manoora
A 15-year-old girl was arrested and charged by Police at a Jensen St address last night.
It will be alleged the girl was in a stolen vehicle that had been subject to a successful deployment of a tyre deflation device in Manoora.
The vehicle was abandoned shortly after this, and the girl was tracked by a member of the dog squad to the Jensen St address.
It will be further alleged the girl was involved in several other offences across the Northern beaches and Cairns suburbs over the past few weeks.
The 15-year-old Mooroobool girl has been charged with five counts of unlawful use of motor vehicle and two counts of stealing.
She is due to appear before Cairns Childrens Court on August 16.

Multiple charges – Manunda
A 17-year-old boy and a 13-year-old girl were arrested after being located by Police at a Mayers St address yesterday, August 9
It will be alleged the boy and girl had been involved in a break-in at a Kewarra Beach residence on August 8 during which two vehicles were stolen.
It will be further alleged the boy was also involved in other offences in Westcourt and Cairns city on the following days and that the girl had been involved in other offences in Cairns in the previous two months.
The 17-year-old Mareeba boy has been charged with two counts of unlawful use of motor vehicle and one count each of enter dwelling, receiving tainted property, stealing, driving without a licence and obstruct police.
The 13-year-old Edmonton girl has been charged with one count each of trespass, stealing, unlawful use of motor vehicle, attempted stealing and two counts of breach of bail.
Both are due to appear before Cairns Childrens Court today, August 10.
